We Brakemen are very supportive of Heritage Days festivals and during 2008 we were happy to headline these events in Naramata, Hedley and Midway.
April 26th (Saturday-afternoon) Penticton Museum - This is a unique Penticton Centennial event. Intimately set inside the Penticton museum, this concert will have as guests of the Centennial Committee, veteran Kettle Valley rail staff plus local students who are keen on trains and history. Thus in one place there'll be the purveyors of KVR history (The Kettle Valley Brakemen) the people who MADE the history (the old KV boys) and those interested in learning the history. Refreshments will be provided after the concert and the kids can mingle with and question the railroaders. Time 3:30 - 5:00 Cost $10.00 per ticket Info: 490-2451
